MLS Free Soccer Picks & Expert Best Bets For 6/2/19

After a busy Saturday of MLS, it slows down on Sunday with only two games taking place. Let’s breakdown the two games and what side you need to be on to make your day a money maker. Below are the officially June 2nd MLS Free Soccer Picks.

Philadelphia Union @ Minnesota United

Two teams who are coming off midweek games face off on Sunday and look for some urgency with both teams needing a win.

Money Line Pick

Minnesota United still hasn’t suffered a loss on the road but are looking to rebound after a loss against Atlanta United on Wednesday. The final 3-0 scoreline looks bad, but it wasn’t actually that bad with two of the goals coming late. Minnesota United has had a lot of success protecting their home field and still haven’t suffered a loss at Allianz Field yet this season. The Union have only scored two goals total over the last three games and facing a Minnesota United squad that doesn’t give up many goals at home that is an issue. Back Minnesota United to win this game.

Over Under Pick

I don’t love the total play in this game but with the way Minnesota United defense is at home, the only play is with the under. In each of the last two home games they have won by a final scoreline of 1-0. I see this game finishing right at that scoreline which will keep it under the 2.5 mark. Back the under as a lean in this game but I would personally stay away from the total.

New England Revolution @ LA Galaxy

Two teams who have had completely different seasons face off with the New England Revolution and the LA Galaxy squaring off. With a win in this game, LA Galaxy will hold onto the second spot in the Western Conference.

Money Line Pick

I don’t love laying big numbers but there really is no other way to attack this game. The Galaxy had a bit of a struggle a couple of weeks ago but have turned it around winning two games in a row and both games were on the road. They are no doubt the better team over the Revolution but the only reason I am not comfortable laying the spread with the Galaxy is because three of their last four wins have been only by goal. There is no doubt they are going to get the job done but I am not willing to lay 1.5 at -115 odds. Back the Galaxy to win this game on the money line.

Over Under Pick

The Revolution’s defense is playing a little better, but this is still a team that has no sense of playing good defense. Earlier this season they gave up five goals to the Chicago Fire and six goals to the Philadelphia Union in back to back games. The total is set at three and this could be a spot where the Galaxy cover this over by themselves. I am not as confident in this pick as the money line but it’s still a strong play. Back the over.
