Bellator 253 predictions, picks, best bets and three-fight parlay
We have a rare Bellator fight card this Thursday with a Main Event featuring two Featherweights. There are some huge favorites among this Main Card, so looking for a parlay could be the best way to find the most value.
Here is our favorite three-fight parlay that pays at odds of +599. Be sure to check out the rest of our Bellator 253 predictions for a full breakdown of the Main Card.
Bobby Lee vs. Joey Davis Under 1.5 Rounds (+110)
Joey Davis is the heaviest favorite on the Main Card and comes into this fight 7-0 in the MMA. His most recent fight was back in December of 2019, a TKO win against Chris Cisneros. Davis is very good at finishing his fights, winning five times by KO/TKO. All five of his knockout wins have come in the first round, so he loves to work quickly.
Bobby Lee comes into this fight 12-4 in the MMA. His most recent fight was back in September of this year, a win by unanimous decision. Lee has a solid finishing rate, winning eight of his 12 fights by finish. Two of these fights were won by KO/TKO and the other six came by submission.
Davis has shown much more power and works fast, so I would lean to this fight staying under 1.5 rounds.
Benson Henderson (+145) vs. Jason Jackson
Jason Jackson is the favorite here, coming into this fight 12-4. He has won his last two fights, both by decision. Jackson has a total of seven finishes in his career, four coming by KO/TKO and the other three coming by submission.
Benson Henderson is actually the much more experienced fighter, coming into this fight 28-9 in his MMA career. Henderson is coming off a loss against Michael Chandler by KO. This fight took place in August of this year. Henderson has a total of 14 finishes in his career with 14 decision wins.
Henderson’s chin is a slight concern, but Jackson does not win by knockout all that often, so I would actually lean to the underdog to bounce back with a win.
AJ McKee (-278) vs. Darrion Caldwell
AJ McKee comes into this fight with an impressive record of 16-0. All his fights are in the Bellator as well, making it even more impressive. McKee is a prolific finisher, winning six fights by KO/TKO and five fights by submission. He is clearly comfortable with fighting on the ground or standing up, which will help him win this fight.
Darrion Caldwell comes into this fight 15-3 in the MMA and 12-2 in the Bellator. He is currently on a two-fight win streak with his most recent fight coming in January of this year. Caldwell is less likely to finish a fight, winning just twice by KO/TKO, but six times by submission. In Bellator events, he has seven wins by finish and one loss by finish.
I cannot look past McKee’s perfect record and I think he will win this fight with ease. His money line is a bit high, but he is far more balanced than Caldwell, so I will back him here to win.Last updated: Thu 19th November 2020
