MLS Free Soccer Picks & Expert Best Bets For 6/8/19

It’s a light slate of games across the MLS on Saturday with only three games taking place and after these games, it will be a couple of weeks off with players on international duty. Let’s breakdown the three games and what side you need to be on with our MLS free soccer picks below!

FC Dallas @ San Jose Earthquakes

The San Jose Earthquakes got off to a terrible start to the season but they have gotten it figured out as of late and have won two of the last three games with the other game ending in a draw. The most impressive part of that is two of the last three games have been on the road.

For FC Dallas they have had their issues on the road losing their last three games played away from home. I don’t love that you have to lay a negative number with the Earthquakes in this game but maybe closer to kickoff, the price will decrease and they will be plus money. Either way, I think this is a solid pick and you need to back the Earthquakes to win this game on the money line.

NY Red Bulls @ Philadelphia Union

Two of the best teams in the Eastern Conference face off in this game and this is my favorite play on the board. The Red Bulls come into this game smoking hot having won four of the last five games. The other game they played to a draw with the Vancouver Whitecaps.

The Union have been good this year but over the last four games they only have one win and this is a big step up in competition. In two of the last three games they have given up at least two goals and against a good offense that is going to be a problem. Personally, I am going to put a little money for the Red Bulls to win this game on the money line because the payout is so nice.

The official play though is for the Red Bulls who are getting +0.5 goals in this game. At worst this game ends in a draw for the two sides.

Minnesota United FC @ Colorado Rapids

If you take away Minnesota United’s last game where they put up two goals, the offense has been basically non-existent the last month. In the previous four games before their game they scored a total of one goal and I don’t see the offense getting much better in this one.

The one thing that Minnesota United has been doing well is defending and I don’t expect either team to get too many chances on goal in this game. The total is set at three in this game and with both teams not getting good chances I expect this will be a very low scoring game.

I would bet this game lightly but the play is with the under three to be covered. I also think the draw sitting at right around +250 is worth a look but the official play is with this game to go under the posted total.
