Game 4 between the Thunder and Spurs will be jammed packed full of entertainment and chaos. After 3 games, the Thunder hold a 2-1 series lead, with the series starting to become chippy. I’m looking to make it 4-0 in picks this series after the MVP, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander cashed his over 11.5 rebounds+assists prop. Ahead of the action, let’s look ahead to my best NBA player props for Sunday, May 24, and don’t forget expert NBA picks for EVERY game throughout the postseason.

NBA player prop: Stephon Castle (SAS) Over 23.5 points+assists (-118)
Odds available at FanDuel at time of publishing.
Stephon Castle set records in Games 1 and 2, but not the kind you want. He turned the ball over 20 times through 2 games. That’s the most turnovers through 2 games in Conference Finals history. He answered that with just 1 turnover in Game 3. D’Aaron Fox suiting up helped, as Fox logged a 25% usage rate.
For Game 4, we’re jumping on Castle’s points+assists prop of 23.5 on FanDuel. That’s by far the best number on the market as of publication. Castle will have to do a lot of the heavy lifting if the Spurs want to even this series at 2-2 and send it back to Oklahoma City. Victor Wembanyama is being played aggressively on and off the ball, which has him looking for ways to get his teammates more involved. I expect Castle to continue to come out aggressively, especially attacking the rim, as the Spurs space the floor.
The Thunder can deploy a plethora of different lineups. That includes small-ball if they decide to have Alex Caruso or Chet Holmgren at the 5 guarding Wembanyama – Giving Castle an edge with all eyes on Wembanyama.
