MLB Friday calls for rain on the East Coast but with still plenty of value on the 15-game slate. Let’s dive into our top MLB player prop bets for Friday, May 10.

Marcell Ozuna (ATL) over 1.5 hits + runs + rbi (-105)

Line available at DraftKings at time of publishing.

The Atlanta Braves sit at 22-12 on the young season thanks to Marcell Ozuna and his bat. The rest of the Braves core has struggled out the gate, with Ronald Acuna Jr, Austin Riley, and Matt Olson all underperforming. While backing a Hits + Runs + RBI prop is just as much as backing the player’s teammates, I’ll gladly back this offense against LHP Jose Quintana and his 5.95 xERA – ranking in the bottom 10% of all pitchers.

Ozuna’s 11/24 history against Quintana bodes well for us, but coming off a game two nights ago with two home runs takes the cake. Ozuna is playing at an All-Star level, and I expect that to continue on the road even with rain forecasted.

Michael King (SD) over 2.5 earned runs (-120)

Line available at DraftKings at time of publishing.

Pitching against a team three times in less than two months spells trouble. When that team is the Los Angeles Dodgers, it smells like a disaster waiting to happen. Michael King of the San Diego Padres will be on the mound on Friday night as he looks to put his prior outings against the Dodgers in the past. He’s allowed seven earned runs across nine innings of work.

Mookie Betts and Shohei Ohtani will lead the charge against King, as the two are a combined 6/14 off the righty. It’s been tough for RHP against the Dodgers all season, as they rank in the top five in batting average, on-base percentage, slugging, and wRC+. King was solid in his last outing against the underwhelming Diamondbacks, but I’ll side with the historic Dodgers lineup facing off against King for the third time this season.
