Sandwiched between a couple of smaller slates is this great 12-game Tuesday night in the NHL. The matchups that look to be the most intriguing are Golden Knights vs Maple Leafs and Stars vs Avalanche. Elsewhere, there are tons more teams suited up that are all vying for playoff spots. Fans are being treated to playoff-style hockey well before the postseason begins due to league parity providing playoff picture drama already. This will be yet a great night of hockey with a little bit of a playoff feel. Along with our NHL mega parlay, make sure you read our NHL predictions for today’s action.

NHL Parlay Picks (2/27)

Panthers ML & Under 6.5 (+160)

Lightning ML (-120)

Devils -1.5 (+105)

NHL parlay odds: +877

Florida Panthers ML over Buffalo Sabres & Under 6.5 (+160)

The Panthers have the best winning percentage in the NHL while the Sabres have struggled with consistency all season. Florida won the sole head-to-head matchup this season 4-0. The Panthers have been one of the hottest teams in hockey and look good to get the job done again.

The under has been rolling for both the Sabres and Panthers lately. The under has hit in 5 of Buffalo’s last 6 games, as well as in 4 of Florida’s last 5. The total has also gone under in 4 of the last 5 played head-to-head. Both teams are in solid form with goal prevention being a recent strength. Current form and recent trends bode well for another under.

Tampa Bay Lightning ML over Philadelphia Flyers (-120)

This has all the makings of a very good game. What gives the Lightning more appeal in this matchup between good teams is their recent form. The Lightning have won 13 of their last 19 games. They had a 3-game losing streak earlier this month but snapped it with back-to-back wins by a combined 5 goals.

Meanwhile, the Flyers have dropped 4 of their last 5 games. They have lost both low-scoring games and high-scoring games during that stretch, and their only win was against the lowly Blackhawks. The Lightning have also won 13 of the last 15 played head-to-head. Recent trends point toward the Lightning overcoming the Flyers once again.

New Jersey Devils -1.5 over San Jose Sharks (+105)

The Sharks come at a good time in the Devils’ schedule. New Jersey has dropped 3 of their last 4 games. They are 5 points out of a playoff spot with under 25 games remaining. It is getting to be crunch time and the Devils are in a major get-right spot. They will come out with plenty of urgency to collect these 2 points that they need.

The Sharks have been a punching bag for the majority of the season in embarrassing fashion. Things have not changed much recently. San Jose has dropped 5 of their last 6 games, as well as 4 of their last 5 games at home. This one should be all New Jersey, who will be highly motivated to start put a string of big wins together.
