Philadelphia 76ers 1 – 10 Win Margin (+170)

These two teams have been evenly matched over the last 10 meetings with each team winning 5 of them, while 6 of those games being decided by under 10 points. The scoring has also been evenly distributed with the Sixers scoring just 0.6 points more per game during that stretch. We could be in for another close outcome tonight as both teams have been involved in some pretty close finishes lately. The last 3 Nuggets games have been decided by just 8, 1 and 2 points, while for the 76ers none of their last 5 meetings were decided by more than 10 points. Philadelphia gets the edge though as they are on a 6-game win streak, winning their last 5 games vs Western Conference opponents. They’ve also had the edge in covering the spread in head-to-head meetings doing so 13 times in the last 20 games. But like I said, these two teams are evenly matched, but I expect Embiid and Harden to produce in the clutch here, so let’s go with Philadelphia to win a close one.

Nikola Jokic Over 11.5 Rebounds (+102)

Going up against an elite big man in Joel Embiid is something that Nikola Jokic will relish in my opinion. The 2-time MVP has been in scintillating form lately, the Nuggets have rested him in 3 of their last 4 games just so he can be at 100% for tonight’s game. He’s averaging 12.2 rebounds per game over his last 6 outings, playing only 33.3 minutes per game. Right now he’s also on a streak of 7 games in a row with at least 10 rebounds and the last time he faced Embiid he finished with 13 of them. Although they’ve been pretty solid on the glass in their last 3 games, the 76ers still rank in the bottom 15 in opponent rebounds per game when playing at home. This match-up has been heavily dominated by defense over the last 10 games with an average of just 211.8 points per game scored, if that is the case tonight we’ll see an increase in rebounding numbers and Jokic is the one that will benefit from that the most.

Aaron Gordon Over 0.5 Made Threes (-170)

The absence of Michael Porter Jr. and Jamal Murray has elevated the production of Aaron Gordon to new heights, something that I’m sure even he is a little bit surprised with. Over his last 10 games he’s been shooting the ball at an impressive 54.1% from the field and 44.4% from three-point land. On the road that number from the field jumps up to 58.5% which is among the league leaders. He’s made at least one three in 5 games straight and in 9 of his last 11 outings. With the focus of the 76ers defense being mainly on slowing down Jokic, he might go under the radar a bit here. Philly has been allowing 37.5% of opponent threes to hit over their last 3 games, which is just below the league average. I’m expecting Gordon to have at least 20 points here if Murray and Porter Jr. aren’t able to suit up.
