NFL SNF Indianapolis Colts vs Dallas Cowboys Same Game Parlay at +807 odds: Dalton Schultz shines in primetime

Dallas Cowboys tight end Dalton Schultz (86) and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (88) celebrates a touchdown against the Washington Commanders during the second half at AT&T Stadium.

The Dallas Cowboys have been rolling since Dak Prescott returned, and for their Week 13 matchup, they welcome in one of the worst offenses in football — the Indianapolis Colts. It will be a star-studded edition of Sunday Night Football as Jonathan Taylor and CeeDee Lamb will be going head-t0-head, and there’s no better way to celebrate Sunday night than with a Same Game Parlay!

Below is our SGP for SNF, and also be sure to check out our full Indianapolis Colts vs Dallas Cowboys picks.

Cowboys first-half spread -5.5 (-120)

Jonathan Taylor to score a touchdown (-115)

Dalton Schultz to score a touchdown (+170)

Parlay odds: +807

Part of the value in Same Game Parlays, of course, is that all of its components can be correlated if you so choose. That is partially the plan here, as Dalton Schultz scoring a touchdown would be good for the Cowboys to win the first half. Let’s break down each of the SGP legs.

Dallas Cowboys first-half spread -5.5 (-120)

Sunday Night Football will feature the worst first-half team in football. The Colts have been awful in the first half this season, as they are 2-10 ATS and average just 5.7 points. It gets worse when they are away from Indianapolis since they drop to 1-5 ATS in the first half and average a pathetic 3.2 points. They will face a Dallas team that has scored at least 14 points in the first half in 3 of the last 4 games. Since the Cowboys are playing a team that starts so slowly, they will likely need to score only 10 to 14 points in the first half to cover this spread. The Cowboys boast an elite defense that should force 3-and-outs consistently, so I’ll take the home team to win the opening half by at least 6 points.

Our touchdown scorer best bets are locked in!

Jonathan Taylor to score a touchdown (-115)

It was a slower start to the season for Jonathan Taylor, but he’s shown a glimpse of his 2021 self in the last few weeks. He has scored a touchdown in 3 consecutive games and should get plenty of opportunities to score on Sunday night. The strength of the Cowboys’ defense is their secondary, as they allow the fewest passing yards per game, so Matt Ryan will likely have a difficult time downfield. That opens the door for Taylor, who has been one of the most reliable backs since coming into the league. I don’t expect the Colts to have many opportunities in the red zone, but when they do, Taylor should get heavy usage.

Dalton Shultz to score a touchdown (+170)

Similar to Taylor, it was a very slow first half of the season for Dalton Schultz. The tight end hauled in 7 receptions in Week 1 and then began to deal with a knee injury. That caused his usage to decline rapidly, and it took until Week 7 for Schultz to have more than 2 receptions in a game. Week 7 was a turning point in Schultz’s season as he finally appeared healthy, and since then, he averages 4.8 receptions on 5.8 targets per game. He has scored 3 touchdowns in the last 3 weeks, including 2 in Dallas’ Thanksgiving Day win over the Giants. He is back to being one of Dak Prescott’s favorite red-zone targets, so I’ll back the tight end for a touchdown in back-to-back weeks.
