Texas Rangers Adolis Garcia (53) hits a walk-off home run against Arizona Diamondbacks relief pitcher Miguel Castro (50) in the 11th inning during Game 1 of 2023 World Series at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, on Oct. 27, 2023.

I’ll look to improve on my 5-1 record with MLB player prop bets on Monday, April 8th, with a 13-game slate.

Adolis García (TEX) Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI (-125)

Line available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

It’s no secret that Hits + Runs + RBI is my favorite market to bet on in the MLB streets. You have plenty of outs in cashing this bet, including getting on via a walk and still scoring. But with a guy like Adolis García, one swing can cash this – especially against a pitcher like Framber Valdez, who this Texas Rangers lineup has seen plenty – advantage hitters.

Garcia has struggled in the K, whiff, and xBA% department to start the season, but he’s finding a way to cash this prop. He’s over this line in 8 of 9 games due mainly to hitting in the middle of a lethal lineup. He’s hit 4 home runs, 11 RBI, and has scored 7 runs.

Tonight will be the 6th time Valdez has faced off against the Rangers since the start of last season. He’s allowed at least 3 earned runs and 6 hits in three of those five games. In a lineup filled with veterans, up-and-coming stars, and, most importantly, power, I expect Valdez to struggle and García to find his way to cashing this prop.
