A quartet of playoff games are ready to fill up our Saturday. Let’s dive into my best NBA player prop bets for Saturday, April 27, while you can also check out our NBA picks for all 4 of today’s matchups.

Larry Nance Jr, NOP, Over 5.5 rebounds (-118)

Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

I firmly believe that Larry Nance Jr. has to get meaningful minutes in this series. Jonas Valanciunas is getting torched on defense by allowing Chet Holmgren to pop on every screen. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is hunting down Valanciunas on nearly every possession.

Nance snagged 4 rebounds in the first 2 minutes of action he saw in Game 2. He eventually had to exit the game with an ankle injury but is ready to go for Game 3. I expect upwards of 23 minutes today, and NOP head coach Willie Green has no choice but to switch something up.

Aaron Gordon, DEN, Over 14.5 points (-125)

Odds available at BetMGM Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Aaron Gordon plays one of the most important roles of any player in the NBA. He’s assigned to defend the best player on the opposing team while also being a lob threat for Nikola Jokic when teams look to double in the post. The acquisition of Gordon years ago led them to a Denver championship last season, and they look well on their way to chasing another one. The Nuggets look to finish the sweep of the Lakers tonight and they are favorites on the road.

Gordon sparked the Nuggets in Game 2 with 29 points. It all came relatively easy, as the Lakers have no other option when eyes are glued to Jokic, Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. Attacking these 4th-5th options on offense can be a profitable system in these playoffs, as opposing coaches will look to shut down stars in the half court.
