This card features a light heavyweight title fight between Alex Pereira and Jamahal Hill as the Main Event and a women’s strawweight title fight between Zhang Weili and Yan Xiaonan as the Co-Main Event. Here are our best bets for this UFC card, which will include 3 fights on the Main Card.

UFC 300 Main Card Best Bets

Jamahal Hill ML over Alex Pereira (+110)

The Main Event at UFC 300 will see Alex Pereira take on Jamahal Hill in the UFC Light Heavyweight division and will be for the Light Heavyweight title.

Hill comes into this fight with an MMA record of 12-1 and he is 7-1 in the UFC. Hill is averaging 7.31 significant strikes per minute and has a striking accuracy of 54%. He is absorbing 3.35 strikes and has a striking defense of 47%. His grappling has been ineffective, having not landed a takedown in the UFC, however; he does have a takedown defense of 73%.

This fight is relatively evenly matched with the Pereira being the small favorite due to the fact that he is the one holding the title. That being said, Hill has a significant edge in striking volume, while Pereira’s grappling has not been strong enough to cause real problems. Based on that, backing Hill to win this fight and win the Light Heavyweight title will be our best bet.

Justin Gaethje vs. Max Holloway – Fight to go the Distance – No (-120)

The third fight on the Main Card at UFC 300 will see Justin Gaethje take on Max Holloway in the UFC Lightweight division.

Gaethje is a medium-sized favorite in this fight, but instead, we will be looking at this fight to end inside the distance. Holloway has seen 14 of his career fights end by finish, while Gaethje has seen 25 of his career fights do the same. They both have fight at a high pace, have exceptional striking volume and absorb a ton of damage. Because of this, backing this fight to end inside the distance will be our best bet.

Bo Nickal Win by Submission over Cody Brundage (-125)

The first fight on the Main Card at UFC 300 will see Bo Nickal take on Cody Brundage in the UFC Middleweight division.

Nickal comes into this fight with an MMA record of 5-0 and he is 4-0 in the UFC. Nickal is averaging 2.76 significant strikes per minute and has a striking accuracy of 62%. He is absorbing 0.55 strikes and has a striking defense of 75%. He is also an elite grappler, averaging 11.04 takedowns per every 15 minutes and 13.8 submission attempts during the same time period. He has a takedown accuracy of 50%.

Nickal by far the biggest favorite on this fight card, so instead we will be looking at how he will win this fight. Nickal has won 3 of his 5 career fights by submission, which includes 3 of his last 4 UFC fights. Because of this, backing Nickal to win by submission will be our best bet.
