• St. Louis Battlehawks vs. Seattle Sea Dragons: Over 44.5 (-112) vs. Under 44.5 (-108)

• Halftime lines: Each of the markets detailed above come in both full-game and halftime lines. For example, you could bet on Arlington +3.5 1H instead of Arlington +6.5 for the full game.

How to read XFL odds & betting lines

In this section, we will expand upon our understanding of XFL odds and lines and teach you how to bet on XFL games. We’ll continue using the same examples from our last section.

Point Spread: DC Defenders -6.5 (-110) vs. Vegas Vipers +6.5 (-110)

In this example, the DC Defenders are favored by 6.5 points against the underdog Vegas Vipers. If you place a bet on the Defenders to cover the spread, they would need to beat Vegas by at least seven points for the bet to win. If you bet on the Vipers instead, your bet would win if Vegas wins the game, or if they lose by six points or less.

Both DC -6.5 and Vegas +6.5 have odds listed as (-110), which means a winning $11 bet would profit $10. 

Moneyline: Orlando Guardians (-130) vs. San Antonio Brahmas (+120)

In reading this, we see that Orlando is the favorite in the game, as they have odds of -130. This means that you would need to bet $13 on the Guardians to profit $10 if they win the game. The Brahmas are the underdog and have +120 odds, which means a $10 bet on San Antonio would profit $12 if the Brahmas win the game.

Total (Over/Under): St. Louis Battlehawks vs. Seattle Sea Dragons: Over 44.5 (-112) vs. Under 44.5 (-108)

A bet on the over in this game would win if St. Louis and Seattle combine to score at least 45 points in the game. This could come in a variety of forms, as a St. Louis 42-7 win means the same as a 27-20 Seattle win. Betting on the under would be a winner if the teams combine to score less than 45 combined points.

We also see that the over has odds of -112, which means you would need to bet $11.20 to profit $10. The under has odds of -108, meaning a bet of $10.80 would profit the same $10.

Why bet on XFL?

I am a huge NFL fan, so I was a little hesitant to get involved with XFL betting. I love football, but I didn’t feel like I needed football year-round. However, I turned on a game and was thoroughly impressed with the viewing experience.
