Thursday brings us a huge Game 6 in what has been the most entertaining first-round matchup of this year’s NBA postseason. The 76ers need a win to stay alive, while the Knicks will be hoping to avoid a Game 7 having had a 3-1 lead. Which team will pull off the victory? Tip-off is at 9:00 pm ET on TNT, and I’ve come up with a Knicks vs 76ers Same Game Parlay. You can also find out our NBA picks on the side and total for Knicks vs 76ers and Bucks vs Pacers.

Philadelphia 76ers -3.5 over New York Knicks (-108)

Closing out an opponent once again proved to be the toughest thing to do in the NBA as the Knicks wasted a 6-point lead with under 30 seconds to go in Game 5, ultimately losing 112-106 to the 76ers. Game 6 will be difficult as New York used just 2 bench players on Tuesday, and their rotation now depends on a total of 7 players. Although they did win Game 4 at Wells Fargo Center, the Knicks are still just 5-12 in their last 17 visits to Philadelphia.

All the pressure now shifts to the Knicks again and I cannot even imagine the scrutiny they would face if they were to blow a 3-1 lead. Joel Embiid didn’t shoot the ball all that well in Game 5, but still ended the game with a triple-double. Philly is 6-1 in their last 7 home games and 11-3 ATS in their last 14 against Eastern Conference opponents. I’m rolling with Embiid and company to pull this one out and to gift us all with a Game 7 on Saturday back at Madison Square Garden.

Tobias Harris over 11.5 points (-104)

It took him 5 games but we finally got a good game out of Tobias Harris in this series. After averaging less than 10 points coming into Game 5, Harris stepped it up when his team needed him the most and ended the matchup with 19 points on 7-for-11 shooting, including 3 threes on 50% efficiency. That must feel great for his confidence, which has been shot following 2 single-digit point performances in the first 4 games of the series.

Playing back home should help him maintain this level of play. He averaged 16.7 points per game at Wells Fargo Center during the regular season on over 50% shooting from the field and a respectable 38% from downtown. If the Sixers can get another 15+ point performance out of him on Thursday, we should see a Game 7 in this series.

Miles McBride over 1.5 made threes (-186)

With Donte DiVincenzo’s numbers plummeting in this series, the Knicks have had to dig deep into their bench to find extra help for Jalen Brunson on offense. McBride has been a revelation so far through 5 games, elevating his average from 8.3 points per game to 13 a night in the postseason. His efficiency is also up across the board and he has flown a bit under the radar, but with the news of Bojan Bogdanovic missing the rest of the postseason through injury, his playing time should stay the same or even increase depending on how fatigued the starters will be.

Tom Thibodeau is no stranger to playing his starters 40+ or even 50+ minutes when the opportunity arrives. McBride’s contribution off the bench could be the key, and he has cleared this line in all but one of the games in this series. He’s making 2.4 threes per game on an impressive 46.2% from downtown. The youngster is showing no signs of fear in his first real postseason test and I have no doubt he can knock down a couple of threes for New York here.
