It doesn’t get any better than Thanksgiving week during the college football regular season. The Civil War between Oregon State and Oregon is always a staple of the week, and this year’s contest is especially crucial since Oregon holds very real College Football Playoff aspirations. With a 10-1 record, the Ducks come in at #6 in the rankings. The 16th-ranked Beavers are 8-3 and coming off a hard-fought 22-20 setback against Washington. Here is my Oregon State vs Oregon Same Game Parlay for the matchup, which will be televised starting at 8:30 pm ET on FOX. Also, be sure to check out our full Oregon State vs Oregon predictions.

Oregon State +13.5 (-110)

DJ Uiagalelei to record 275+ passing yards (+280)

Bo Nix Over 2.5 passing touchdowns (-148)

Same Game Parlay odds: +747

One of the benefits of Same Game Parlays, of course, is that you can correlate the plays. That is some of the plan here, as Oregon State quarterback DJ Uiagalelei throwing for a whole bunch of yards would obviously work well with a cover by the Beavers. At the same time, plays that aren’t correlated drive up the overall payout of the parlay. That is the case with backing Oregon QB Bo Nix to also have a big day through the air. But even if that happens, there is no reason why Oregon State can’t keep it close. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.

Oregon State Beavers +13.5 over Oregon Ducks (-110)

Orgon is a considerable favorite, but I don’t expect Oregon State to go down without a fight. This has all the makings of an offensive slugfest and the Beavers are capable of keeping up. Led by Uiagalelei and running back Damien Martinez, OSU is putting up 36.3 points per game (18th in the FBS). The visitors’ defense has shown plenty of flashes this season, too. That unit ranks 5th in the country in sacks per game and should be able to create some chaos behind the line of scrimmage to limit big plays downfield. I actually like Oregon State to win the battle of the trenches on both sides of the ball. Oregon’s defense ranks 76th in tackles for loss and outside the top 50 in line yards. Oregon State’s o-line ranks 16th in line yards. The Beavers have not lost by more than 1 possession all season long; look for them to be competitive yet again.

We have a college football mega parlay at +988 odds for all the action on Black Friday

DJ Uiagalelei to record 275+ passing yards (+280)

A change of scenery from Clemson has been just what the doctor ordered for Uiagalelei, who is enjoying a stellar season in Corvallis. The junior signal-caller has thrown for 2,418 yards to go along with 20 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. Uiagalelei has reached the 275-yard mark only twice in 2023, but keep in mind that he hasn’t been required to air it out a ton (has attempted more than 30 passes in a game just twice). After all, Oregon State has not lost a single time by more than 3 points this year. As the odds suggest, the Beavers are expected to be playing from behind early and often on Friday, and therefore Uiagalelei will likely throw a ton of passes. Meanwhile, Oregon’s defense is #11 nationally against the run but not as stout against the pass.

Bo Nix Over 2.5 passing touchdowns (-148)

Remember that Oregon State only has to stay within 13.5 points for the first leg of this parlay to cash. Plus there are expected to be a lot of points scored in this contest (the over/under is 61.5). As such, the Beavers will have every chance to be competitive even if Nix tosses 3 touchdown passes. And he will probably do it, too. A Heisman Trophy frontrunner, Nix has thrown 35 touchdowns compared to only 2 interceptions this season. He has delivered at least 3 passing TDs in 7 of 11 contests, including 4, 4 and 6 in the past 3 outings. Oregon State’s defense is better against the run than the pass, so Nix should be in line for yet another huge performance through the air.

We’ve also got an Ohio State vs Michigan Same Game Parlay for Saturday’s HUGE matchup
