Cincinnati Bearcats vs Kansas Jayhawks Prediction, Odds and Picks for Saturday, 09/27/25
Cincinnati vs Kansas Pickswise Expert Predictions
The Cincinnati Bearcats hit the road for a Big 12 test against the Kansas Jayhawks. Cincinnati comes in at 2-1, but the wins were against cupcakes while the loss was the opener to Nebraska. Kansas comes in at 3-1, including a loss at Missouri and wins at home vs Fresno St and West Virginia. I like the Jayhawks quite a bit here, and I am not sure why Cincinnati isn’t a bigger underdog. Then again, it is also that time of year when we start to believe in Kansas, only to find ourselves soon to be disappointed. Be that as it may, I am rolling with the Jayhawks -4.5 at home.
I am not impressed with the Bearcats on either side of the ball. Their defense is just average, and they are likely to give up plenty of chunk plays to a good offense that spreads you out and plays advantage football with however you choose to defend them. On the other side of the ball, Cincinnati wants to run the ball, but I am not sure they have the line to do that. Notably, Kansas obliterated West Virginia last week, and they are traditionally one of the more run-heavy teams out there. The Bearcats were also completely unable to generate any passing attack against Nebraska, their only real opponent thus far. I think the Jayhawk defense will be just fine. I don’t see the angle for the Bearcats, and as long as Jalon Daniels is upright, I like Kansas quite a bit.
Cincinnati vs Kansas Prediction: Kansas -4.5 (-110) available at the time of publishing. Playable to -6.5.
