We’ve reached the quietest week in the US sports calendar, but there’s still action to be had tonight with the 2025 MLB All-Star Game. While there are a few top names missing from the matchup, both lineups are still stacked with talent. Starting things off will be ace pitchers Tarik Skubal and Paul Skenes, and the question is whether any hitter will be able to lay a glove on them. While the NRFI is a little more juiced now than I would’ve liked (was available at -120 last night), I still believe it’s the right side to be on. We will see arguably the sport’s 2 best pitchers right now go toe to toe and their YRFI/NRFI records are staggering. Skubal will toe the rubber for the American League, and he boasts a 16-3 NRFI record this season — an 84.2% success rate. The National League’s Skenes is even better. Skenes holds a perfect 20-0 NRFI record in 2025 and is on a 25-NRFI streak overall going back to last season. Both pitchers are on another level, and even against some of the best hitters in the game, it’s hard to see them letting up in this situation. Even at -150, it feels like there is still some value in this price.
