Best NBA Bets Today: Odds & Picks for every game on Saturday, April 4

Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. We will get to witness 2 MVP candidates collide — Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs will be up against Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets. That is a matchup you will not want to miss live on PRIME.

Washington Wizards vs Miami Heat best bet: Heat -17.5 (-110)

The Heat have covered this line in each of their last 2 games against the Wizards, a team who has lost 6 of their last 8 games by 19 or more points. The visitors have been giving up more points in the paint than any other team in the NBA over the last 10 games. With Alex Sarr out and Tristan Vukcevic listed as questionable to play, they should lack the size to make any improvement in their rim protection. That should allow the likes of Bam Adebayo to dominate the Wizards once more and lead his team to a comfortable win.

San Antonio Spurs vs Denver Nuggets best bet: Julian Champegnie Over 9.5 points (-115)

Julian Champegnie has been incredibly consistent for the Spurs. He has recorded double-digit points in 8 of his last 9 games. The fact that he is a 38% shooter from deep this season certainly helps. Today, he will be taking on a Nuggets team against which he had one of his best scoring games this season, managing 25 points. With the attention of the defense firmly on Victor Wembanyama, look for a floor spacer like Champagnie to thrive and continue his recent scoring run.

Detroit Pistons vs Philadelphia 76ers best bet: Pistons -2.5 (-110)

The 76ers took down the Minnesota Timberwolves last night and now find themselves on the second night of a back-to-back set. Considering that both Joel Embiid and Paul George played in that game, there is a chance that both will be rested today. The Pistons will remain without Cade Cunningham, but they have continued to perform well without him — winning 8 of their last 10 overall. During that stretch they top the 76ers in net offensive and defensive rating. Considering they have won all 3 meeting between these teams this season, too, it’s hard to look past them to cover this relatively small spread.
