Best NBA Bets Today: Odds & Picks for every game on Saturday, February 28

Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. There are 5 games on the NBA slate on Saturday after an thrilling night of action on Friday. Among those games we had the Detroit Pistons pull off an unlikely comeback against the Cleveland Cavaliers in overtime. Let’s see if any of the games today will be able to live up to that billing.

Make sure to check out all of our NBA previews. But first, take a look at my best bets for Saturdays games below.

Portland Trail Blazers vs Charlotte Hornets best bet: Over 228.5 (-110)

The Trail Blazers have seen 10 of their last 11 games combine for 229 points or more, helped by the fact that over the last 10 games they are ninth in the league in pace. Today they take on a Hornets team who lead the league in 3-point makes and percentage during that stretch and that ranks 3rd in offensive rating. Expect them to do the heavy lifting for the over on this line once more.

Houston Rockets vs Miami Heat best bet: Tyler Herro Over 20.5 points (+100)

With Norman Powell going down for the Heat in their last game, Tyler Herro will have to pick up a larger role and carry the offense. Since the start of 2026, he has played 30 or more minutes on 4 occasions — scoring at least 21 points in each contest. That includes the 25 points he scored in his last outing. The Heat will need him to stay equally aggressive against the Rockets in this one.

Toronto Raptors vs Washington Wizards best bet: Raptors -13.5 (-110)

Over the last 8 games, the only team that the Wizards have been able to stay competitive against has been the Indiana Pacers. Today they will face a far tougher test against a Raptors team that comes into the game relatively healthy. They also rank 10th over the last 10 games in net offensive and defensive rating and are fighting to hold onto an automatic playoff spot. They should dominate this one.

Los Angeles Lakers vs Golden State Warriors best bet: Luke Kennard Over 6.5 points (-110)

Since joining the Lakers, Luke Kennard has been incredibly consistent scoring the ball. He has scored 7 or more points in each of the 9 games he has played in the month of February. He now takes on a Warriors team against whom he is averaging 16 points per game over 2 contests while playing just 23 minutes. It’s hard to see this being the team that ends his current streak.

New Orleans Pelicans vs Utah Jazz best bet: DeAndre Jordan Under 6.5 rebounds (+100)

DeAndre Jordan started the last game for the Pelicans and recorded 7 rebounds. However, he spent just 13 minutes on the floor — and not because of foul trouble. He takes on the same opponent in this one as he did in that game, the Jazz. If he seems similar minutes once more, it will be tough for him to replicate such efficiency on the glass.
