The NBA brings us a 7-game slate to close out the first week of December. Among the teams in action will be the NBA leading Oklahoma City Thunder, who will be looking to continue to make strides towards a record breaking season as they pay a visit to the Utah Jazz. You can find our preview for that and all of the days NBA games here. But for now, check out my best bet selection for each contest below.
Magic vs Knicks best bet: Knicks -2.5 (-106)
The Knicks have a points differential of +14.6 when playing at home this season. They will be taking on a Magic team that is just 23rd this season in 3-point percentage. Considering that the Knicks allow the 4th fewest paint points this year, they should be well positioned to shut down the visitors.
Celtics vs Raptors best bet: Under 225.5 (-112)
These teams are 3rd and 4th respectively in opponent fast break points per game this season. Over the last 10 games they are also 24th and 30th in pace and the hosts are 24th in true shooting percentage too. All those factors should turn this into a slow half-court game, setting the scene for a low scoring encounter.

Trail Blazers vs Grizzlies best bet: Zach Edey to record 14+ rebounds (+176)
Zach Edey has been able to hit the over on this line in 4 of his last 5 games. Tonight, he will be up against Donovan Clingan, a player who has very limited floor spacing ability. Look for the Grizzlies man to be able to stay in the paint and take advantage of his size on the glass all night.
Nuggets vs Hornets best bet: Nuggets -10.5 (-114)
The hosts will be without a number of key players tonight, with the likes of LaMelo Ball and Tre Mann listed as out. With Moussa Diabate listed as questionable too, it could leave them short of size inside. Not something you want to be without when Nikola Jokic is in town. The Nuggets should be able to dominate here as a result.
Warriors vs Bulls best bet: Under 227.5 (-108)
In 4 of the last 5 games the Warriors have played in, neither team have scored more than 105 points. Against a Bulls team tonight that is just 28th in offensive rating over the last 10 games, do not be surprised to see the trend of low scoring Warriors games continue.
Lakers vs 76ers best bet: Austin Reaves over 23.5 points (-102)
Austin Reaves has been sensational for the Lakers, having scored 30 or more points in 5 of their last 6 games. With LeBron James listed as questionable to play, we could see more usage tonight. Playing against a team that is 11th in pace over the last 10 games should help ensure there are enough possessions for him to take full advantage of that here.
Thunder vs Jazz best bet: Jazz +9.5 (-110)
The injury list for the Thunder looks extensive, with the likes of SGA, Dort, Caruso and Hartenstein all unavailable. While they do have an incredibly deep roster, it might not be enough to get a double-digit win on the road. Over the last 10 games the Jazz are 15th in offensive rating and should be able to score enough points to keep this competitive against a team deprived of some of their best defensive talents.
