There are just 4 games on the NBA slate on Sunday, with all eyes on the NFL. However, the NBA still delivers a strong slate that includes a clash between Eastern Conference heavyweights in the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics. Just 1 game separates them in the standings right now, so expect both teams to look to assert their dominance in this one.
You can read all of our NBA previews. But first take a look at my best bets for all of the day’s games below.
New York Knicks vs Boston Celtics best bet: Over 214.5 (-110)
The last time these sides faced off they combined for 240 points. Over the last 10 games the Celtics have been in the top 10 in offensive rating. Nikola Vucevic looks set to make his debut for the team too. He is averaging over 20 points per game this season against the Knicks so will give the offense another boost. He is a defensive liability however, so look for the Knicks to have success scoring in the paint tonight. It should be another high-scoring game.
Miami Heat vs Washington Wizards best bet: Bam Adebayo Under 20.5 points (+100)
Bam Adebayo has been hovering around this line in recent games, being at least a field goal away in each of his last 7. He scored 16 in each of the last 2 games and comes into the game against the Wizards designated as probable to play after a hip issue. Against an athletic defender in Alex Sarr, not being at full health should limit Adebayo’s contribution once more.
Indiana Pacers vs Toronto Raptors best bet: Sandro Mamukelashvili Over 1.5 made threes (+125)
Sandro Mamukelashvili has been a bit of a revelation for the Toronto Raptors. Over the last 10 games he has hit 46% oh his 3-point attempts. He has also knocked down 2 or more from beyond the arc in each of his 3 games this month. With the Pacers being in the bottom 10 of the league in opponent 3-point percentage, his streak should continue today.
Los Angeles Clippers vs Minnesota Timberwolves best bet: Timberwolves -8.5 (-110)
The Timberwolves have dominated recent matchups between these teams, winning each of the last 5 contests. With James Harden and Ivica Zubac gone, the Clippers could find themselves shy of firepower, especially with Darius Garland still injured. The Clippers also struggle on the road with a 11-16 record there. With Anthony Edwards being on a heater, averaging over 30 points per game over his last 9 outings, he should be able to guide his team to another comfortable win.
