There are 6 games on the NBA slate on Tuesday, with the Oklahoma City Thunder among the teams in action. They are off to an incredible 20-1 start and will be hoping to keep that run going on the road against the Golden State Warriors. With the New York Knicks also taking the floor in a classic matchup against the Boston Celtics, there is plenty for us to bet on.
You can check out all of our NBA previews, but for now check out my best bet for each game below.
Wizards vs 76ers best bet: 76ers -13 (-110)
The Wizards have the worst point differential in the NBA this season at -14.2 per game. Tonight they will be on the road on what is a second night of a back-to-back set, so fatigue could play a major part in affecting their chances against the 76ers. The visitors are eighth in fast-break points per game, but that is not going to be a major weapon for them in this matchup.
Trail Blazers vs Raptors best bet: Jakob Poeltl to record 10+ rebounds (-104)
Poeltl has been able to hit the over on this line in 2 of his last 3 games. The Austrian center will be up against a Trail Blazers team that have been in the bottom 10 of opponent rebounds per game over the last 10 contests. Luke Kornet, Chet Holmgren and Myles Turner all exceeded their season averages against them in their last 3 games and Poeltl — who averages 8.3 rebounds — should be next in line.
Timberwolves vs Pelicans best bet: Timberwolves -10 (-110)
The Timberwolves have won 2 straight games and look set to make a surge up the standings with a healthy roster behind them. They should be able to pick up a dominant win against a Pelicans team that will be missing the scoring punch of Jordan Poole and the defensive capabilities of Herbert Jones.
Grizzlies vs Spurs best bet: Zach Edey Over 14.5 points (-102)
Edey had a career night in his last outing for the Grizzlies, dropping 32 points on the Kings. He has been incredibly efficient this season, shooting 67.2% from the field. His team has won 4 of the 5 games in which he has scored double-digits, so do not be surprised to see the Grizz feed him often to keep his scoring going — especially with Victor Wembanyama not there to protect the paint.
Knicks vs Celtics best bet: Knicks ML (-108)
The Knicks are rolling, having won 4 straight games and rising to second place in the Eastern Conference. They already have a 10-point win in the bag against the Celtics this season and should be a tough matchup for the home team — especially with the size advantage of their frontline.
Thunder vs Warriors best bet: Thunder -12 (-110)
With Stephen Curry out and Jimmy Butler questionable to play, Golden State could have a difficult time tonight scoring the ball against this season’s top team in defensive rating. The Thunder already beat the Dubs by 24 points last month — and without their star scorers, it’s hard to see a different outcome.
