The NBA follows up from Martin Luther King Jr. Day with a strong 7-game slate on Tuesday, which includes a couple of nationally televised games on NBC. The first of these will see a battle for Texas as the San Antonio Spurs take on the Houston Rockets. That is followed by the Los Angeles Lakers taking on the Denver Nuggets, who are looking to reduce the gap in the standings to their rivals. Let’s break down my NBA best bets for all 7 matchups, while you can also find out our expert NBA picks for every game throughout the season!
NBA Suns vs 76ers best bet: Adem Bona over 5.5 rebounds (+122)
The 76ers will be on the second night of a back-to-back which should see them being cautious with Joel Embiid. It should lead to a larger role for Adem Bona. The center averages 3.8 rebounds per game in just 16 minutes of action, but if that gets pushed closer to 30, he should be the one grabbing boards against a Phoenix Suns team that is 18th in opponent rebounds per game over the last 10 contests.

NBA Clippers vs Bulls best bet: James Harden over 30.5 points (-106)
The Clippers have ruled out Kawhi Leonard for the last 2 game of their road trip so it will be up to Harden to carry the scoring load. He has already managed to score 31 or more points in 3 of his last 4 games. Against a Bulls team that is in the bottom 10 of defensive rating over the last 10 games and that has Nikola Vucevic defending the rim, Harden should thrive in this spot.

NBA Spurs vs Rockets best bet: Rockets -4 (-110)
The Rockets have been amazing at home so far this season, with just 3 total losses. They are now taking on a San Antonio Spurs team that is on the back end of a back-to-back set and should be well positioned to exploit a fatigued opponent. They have also won 3 of their last 4 games against the Spurs.

NBA Timberwolves vs Jazz best bet: Jusuf Nurkic over 3.5 assists (-136)
Nurkic has been one of the most consistent performers for the Jazz this season, especially when it comes to sharing the ball. He has recorded 4 or more assists in 10 of his last 11 games. He has struggled to score the ball against the Timberwolves this season, which will give him further incentive to get into his passing bag on Tuesday.

NBA Lakers vs Nuggets best bet: Over 228.5 (-110)
The Lakers have seen 4 of their last 5 games clear the combined 229-point mark and will not take on a Nuggets offense that will likely have both Aaron Gordon and Jamaal Murray in their lineup. Both teams are in the bottom 10 of the NBA in defensive rating over the last 10 games so it’s hard to expect either team putting up much resistance on that end of the floor.

NBA Raptors vs Warriors best bet: Under 225.5 (-110)
The Raptors have seen at least one team in 3 of their last 4 games being held to 102 or fewer points. They will be without a couple of key starters in Jakob Poeltl and RJ Barrett here and with the Warriors learning that Butler is out for the season, the hosts will lack a scoring punch too. Not something they will want against a visiting team that is 6th in defensive rating over the last 10 games.

NBA Heat vs Kings best bet: Over 238.5 (-110)
The Heat have been leading all teams in pace over the last 10 games. With these teams being 19th and 23rd in defensive rating over that stretch too, those extra possessions should turn to points for both sides. The visitors are also on the back end of a back-to-back set, so this might not be the game where they can put together an improved defensive showing.
