We now have just over 20 games left for most of the teams in the NBA. If anyone has aspirations to change their current position in the standings, time is running out to make a run. The New York Knicks will be one of the teams looking to rise to the 2nd seed in their conference, but they have a tough test live on ESPN tonight as they host the league-leading Oklahoma City Thunder. You can find our NBA picks for that game along with every matchup tonight and throughout the rest of the season. But first, let’s break down each of my NBA best bets for today’s 6 contests on Wednesday, March 4.
Thunder vs Knicks NBA best bet: Knicks ML (+152)
The Knicks have made Madison Square Garden a fortress this season, with 23 wins and just 8 losses. They are taking on a Thunder team that continues without the services of Jalen Williams. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is also still coming back from an injury and could have a tough game against a team 2nd in net offensive and defensive rating over the last 10 games.

Hornets vs Celtics NBA best bet: Hornets +6.5 (-108)
The Hornets have won 5 games in a row and have been leading the NBA in offensive rating over the last 10 games. The team is also in the top 10 in defensive rating during that time. They have also not lost a game by 7 or more points since a defeat to the Cleveland Cavaliers on the 22nd of January. Take the points on the Hornets against the Celtics.

Jazz vs 76ers NBA best bet: Adem Bona over 5.5 points (-132)
With Joel Embiid out, the 76ers will turn to Andre Drummond and Adem Bona to fill in at center. Bona saw more playing time in the last contest and could see a larger role here once more. Considering he made 73.7% of his field goals last month, he will not need many shots to hit this over. Going up against a center who is not a great shot blocker in Kyle Filipowski should help him have success at the rim.

Trail Blazers vs Grizzlies NBA best bet: Over 235.5 (-115)
This will be a matchup of 2 teams that in the last 10 games rank in the bottom 10 of the league in defensive rating while also being in the top 10 in pace. This is the 4th meeting between the sides this season and 2 of those games have cleared this over. Recent form suggests this one will follow suite.

Hawks vs Bucks NBA best bet: Bucks -1 (-114)
The Bucks find themselves 4 games behind the Hawks in the standings and the play-ins. A loss tonight all but knocks them out of the race. This will be a very motivated home team that will also be boosted by the return of Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Greek star will give the Bucks an inside scoring threat that will force the Hawks to collapse in the paint, giving the guards even more room outside.

Pacers vs Clippers NBA best bet: Brook Lopez over 1.5 made threes (-128)
Going up against a center in Jay Huff should see the Clippers try and space the floor with the Pacers center averaging 1.9 blocks in 20 minutes this season. Brook Lopez will be the man tasked with pulling him away from the paint. Over his last 10 games he is making 37.5% of his shots from deep and with a new playmaker in Darius Garland picking him out, he should knock down a couple of 3-pointers tonight.
