1u – Christian Braun o2.5 1Q Points (-138 @ Fanduel)
Our 1Q bets have been incredibly generous to us so we won’t be scared off by the juice here. We are getting a bet that can hit in just one shot which is exhilarating. Braun has had a rough go from deep this year but is one year removed from shooting 39% from three so we can expect his percentages to go back up in the second half of the season. Last Denver game we saw Braun shoot 4 threes in the 1Q and take 6 opening shots overall, with that volume this prop feels like a bargain. Braun has played 7+ 1Q minutes in 19 straight games and he has seen 9 minutes and all 12 minutes over his last two outings. Memphis ranks bottom 10 against shooting guards from deep and I imagine they will be game-planning mostly for Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray. Braun should find himself open at some point this quarter, just has to make his looks. This game feels like another amazing NBA blowout so I am happily avoiding the chance of that and singling out the first quarter. Lets roll!
