We have an 11-game NBA slate to sink our teeth into tonight, featuring a couple of hot games on ESPN with Timberwolves vs Knicks and Spurs vs Lakers. I’ve combed through the entire slate and have picked out my best NBA player prop bet for Wednesday, November 5, targeting a player from that T-Wolves vs Knicks matchup. Let’s dive in, while you can also find out our expert NBA picks for every game throughout the NBA season.
Best NBA player prop bet: Jalen Brunson (NY) over 7.5 first-quarter points in Timberwolves vs Knicks (-140)
Odds available at Fanatics Sportsbook at time of publishing.
We are finally betting on my favorite NBA market. No risk of losing this to a blowout — everything is decided in the opening quarter. Jalen Brunson has played all 12 opening minutes of every game this season, the only player in the league to do so. He is averaging 10.9 ppg in the 1st quarter and gets a nice matchup against Minnesota here. The T-Wolves allow the 6th-most points to the point guard position, and Brunson is in the discussion of the deadliest guy running the point nowadays. Last year, Brunson was 2 from 2 against Minnesota with opening quarters of 13 and 9. This bet has been on my radar for quite some time and I’m happy to finally pull the trigger. Let’s roll!
