Along with an ESPN doubleheader featuring Nuggets vs Celtics and Lakers vs Spurs, we also have hot matchups like Bulls vs Pistons, Suns vs Grizzlies and Jazz vs Thunder. Myles Turner isn’t a guy we bet on a lot, but when we do, he seems to deliver. We’re not asking much of him here, just to make 2 deep balls. He has done this in 24 of 36 games, which means it hits in an average of 66%. Tonight feels like one of those nights, as he has recent success against Golden State. My guess is that Draymond Green will be giving Giannis Antetokounmpo everything he has defensively, which should lead to some open Turner splashes.
Last time out against Golden State this year, we saw Turner shoot 3-6 from deep. If he sees the same volume, I like his chances of hitting more than 1 three-pointer. This slate has lots of games that project to be a blowout, but this one feels like it should stay relatively close, which should result in plenty of usage for Turner.
