The 2025 PGA Championship is upon us, and while there is plenty of intrigue around who will win the 2nd major of the year, it can also pay to look at the prop bet market. Rory McIlroy finally ended his wait to capture the career grand slam last month at The Masters and is among Scottie Scheffler as the favorite to win at Quail Hollow. Will he do it? Let’s take a look at our PGA Championship prop bets for this week.

PGA Championship prop bet parlay: Rory McIlroy Top Irish & Jon Rahm Top Spaniard (+125)
Odds available at bet365 at time of publishing.
Rory McIlroy tops the market for the 2025 PGA Championship and the best way to support him at his beloved Quail Hollow could be to back him in a ‘tops’ double with his European Ryder Cup teammate Jon Rahm. McIlroy to be the top Irish player and Rahm to be the top Spaniard pays out at +125 with bet365, who allow the 2 markets to be paired together in parlays.
A 4-time Quail Hollow champion on the PGA Tour, McIlroy has placed in the top 10 on 9 of his 13 starts at the venue, and he has finished no worse than 17th in his last 11 events worldwide. He should finish the PGA Championship as the top Irishman at the expense of close friend Shane Lowry, who will be left to rue another missed chance after he let the Truist Championship slip through his fingers on Sunday evening. Lowry is in excellent form but his lack of length relative to his compatriot is a real handicap at Quail Hollow. Short-hitting Seamus Power, inexperienced Tom McKibbin and veteran Padraig Harrington also look unlikely to play key roles.
Rahm has something to prove in Majors but he was a creditable 14th at the Masters and has not finished outside the top 10 on the LIV Tour this season. He should prove too strong for Sergio Garcia, David Puig and Eugenio Chacarra.

PGA Championship prop bet: Jason Day Top Australian (+275)
Odds available at bet365 at time of publishing.
Jason Day should justify favoritism in the top Australian market. He finished 8th at the Masters and has long had an affinity for Quail Hollow, finishing 9th in the 2017 PGA Championship at the course and winning the Wells Fargo there the following year. He was 4th behind a rampant McIlroy at Quail as recently as last year. Day looks more solid than the likes of Min Woo Lee, Adam Scott and Cameron Smith, who are all having inconsistent seasons.
PGA Championship prop bet: Dean Burmester Top African (+220)
Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.
Dean Burmester finished 12th in last year’s PGA Championship and the powerhouse has contended for several LIV titles this year. He should have no problem getting the better of a relatively weak African contingent.
PGA Championship prop bet: Keith Mitchell Top-20 finish (+360)
Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.
Keith Mitchell is difficult to trust in the PGA Championship winner market given what’s at stake but he should also go well and looks a solid bet to finish inside the top 20. Mitchell has Quail Hollow form figures of 34-8-3-59 to his name and has finished in the top 20 of his last 5 PGA Tour tournaments.
