Champions League best bet: Bayer Leverkusen ML over Olympiakos (-130)
Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.
Bayer Leverkusen should finish the job off at BayArena when an out-of-form Olympiakos arrive in Germany in a bid to overturn a 2-0 first-leg deficit. Kasper Hjulmand’s team was patient and clinical in Piraeus last week, with Patrik Schick proving a major handful for the Greek champions. The Czech striker was benched for the league phase game between these clubs, which Olympiacos won 2-0. But he led the line brilliantly last week when scoring 2 superb goals. It’s almost certain that he will start again on Tuesday after being given only 30 minutes off the bench in Leverkusen’s 1-0 defeat to Union Berlin at the weekend, and his presence in the home team should ensure that they have the edge again.
Olympiacos have lost 2 of their last 4 games and failed to score in 3 of them, which does not inspire much confidence in them getting any kind of result against the Bundesliga club. Leverkusen have won 5 of their last 6 at home and are scoring plenty in front of their own fans.

Champions League best bet: Inter Milan vs Bodo/Glimt both teams to score & over 2.5 goals (-135)
Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.
Bodo/Glimt pulled off yet another Champions League shock at home to Inter Milan last week and will now attempt to finish the job at the San Siro on Tuesday. Maybe it should not have been that much of a shock after their stunning wins at home to Manchester City and away at Atletico Madrid in January. They also earned a 2-2 draw in Dortmund and gave Juventus a mighty scare in a 3-2 home loss late last year, so their momentum has been steadily building. Kjetil Knutsen’s team has every chance of knocking Inter out if they keep their cool in Milan.
Cristian Chivu’s team is powering clear at the top of Serie A but has not been anywhere near as convincing in the Champions League since Simone Inzaghi left after guiding them to last season’s final. The Nerazzurri won 5 and lost 3 of their 8 league phase games, with 4 of their beaten opponents finishing in the bottom 10 places of the 36-team table. The fact that Bodo/Glimt tore one of the best defenses in Europe last season to shreds last week should be a warning to anyone thinking of backing them to win this return leg.
Backing goals is the way to go in a game that Inter have to approach positively. Both teams have scored with at least 3 goals in 6 of Inter’s last 7 home matches and in the Norwegians’ last 7 road games in all competitions – a trend that could continue on Tuesday.
