Let me start off by saying I love this play, and I am going to be betting big on it because there is good value and it might be the safest bet on the board. The Rapids got off to a terrible start to the season but they have figured it out the last month and come into this game off a 1-0 win against LAFC. It’s impressive enough that they beat them but the most impressive part is that they held them to zero goals. The Revolution’s defense has been terrible this season and on the road they are giving up 2.62 goals per game. The Rapids are sitting right around even on the money line and that is the play in this game.
Over Under Pick
I would stay away from this total because at times when the Rapids get out to a lead they get very defensive, much like they did against LAFC. That being said the Revolution’s defense has been terrible and this feels like a game where the Rapids could get three or four goals. The total is set to three and it’s a lean to the over, but I would rather put the money on the Rapids on the money line to get the job done.
