Week 14 on DraftKings was our worst week on the season. It felt like almost all of our recommendations were letdowns. However, we will bounce back this week as we have been profitable in DFS on both DraftKings and FanDuel this season. The following recommendations are best paired with our must-start plays to get above the pay line in cash games for week 15 on DraftKings.
DeAndre Washington Performs Well on DraftKings
Last week, we recommended Alexander Mattison due to what was perceived to be a limited workload to Dalvin Cook. However, that play was not great as Cook wasn’t limited last week against the Lions. This week, the best value play is DeAndre Washington, who should be the primary back with Josh Jacobs being limited. This week the Raiders will be going up against the Jaguars in a game that they are 6.5-point favorites. The Jaguars enter this game, giving up the 3rd most rushing yards per game and the 2nd most yards per attempt this season. The Raiders will look to run the ball in this game, and I look for Washington to be the primary beneficiary of the game plan.
Chris Godwin Exploits a Weak Secondary
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been the 2nd best passing offense in the NFL this season. Despite the multiple interceptions from Jameis Winston, both Chris Godwin and Mike Evans have had monster seasons this year. However, the Buccaneers are likely to be without Mike Evans this week, which means increased targets for Chris Godwin. The Lions have been one of the worst teams at defending the pass this season. The Lions enter this game, giving up the 3rd most passing yards per game 2ith 276.46 yards per game and the 4th most yards per attempt. The Buccaneers are in line for another dominating passing offense on Sunday, and Godwin will exploit the secondary of the Lions.
David Njoku Undervalued in Week 15
This season has been a disappointment for the Browns and the passing game. David Njoku has also been an afterthought in the passing game with only five receptions for 41 yards and a touchdown. However, this week the Browns are going up against the Cardinals who have been giving up the most fantasy points to opposing tight ends this season. Njoku is more of a punt play at his salary, but I look for him to have his biggest game of the season against the Cardinals. The Cardinals are allowing the most passing yards per game this season at 294.23, making Njoku a reliable option in DFS on DraftKings.
