The FIFA Club World Cup continues on Sunday, June 22, as Group G and H play their 2nd games of the tournament. We have a different European squad in each time slot, and the entire slate for Sunday can be seen here:

With plenty on the line in these games, especially after Al-Hilal were able to earn a shock tie against Real Madrid, let’s dive into my soccer predictions for the Real Madrid vs Pachuca and RB Salzburg vs Al-Hilal.

Real Madrid vs Pachuca best bet: Both teams to score (-115)

Real Madrid’s new-look team may take some time to gel, as seen in their 1-1 tie with Al-Hilal in the first game of the Club World Cup. They look set to be without Kylian Mbappe for this game after he was hospitalized with an illness, but Los Blancos still have plenty of attacking threats. However, Pachuca should really have scored more than the 1 they did against RB Salzburg in their opening game and they could cause plenty of issues for Xabi Alonso’s men. Take both teams to score in a game which may not be as straightforward as it looks.

RB Salzburg vs Al-Hilal predictions: Al-Hilal ML (-120)

RB Salzburg were fortunate to get away with a 2-1 win over Pachuca in their opening game and Al-Hilal are an extremely tough 2nd opponent for the Austrian club. Salzburg lost 7 of their 8 Champions League games last season and tend to struggle against the top teams. Al-Hilal showed that they are no pushovers with a 1-1 tie against Real Madrid and they can prove their worth with a win over these opponents. With the likes of Ruben Neves, Joao Cancelo and Kalidou Koulibaly at their disposal, they have some quality players in their squad and are worth siding with to get the win in their 2nd game.
