Week 7 Monday Night Football’s double-header closes out with the Houston Texans (+3) heading up to Seattle to take on the Seahawks, who are coming off a gritty win over the Jaguars on the road. CJ Stroud and company are fresh off a bye week, sitting at 2-3 with a 2-game win streak. If they want to be considered legitimate playoff contenders, they need to find a way to win this game and move to 3-3 as their next few games are against San Francisco, Denver and Jacksonville. This is a pivotal stretch for the Texans’ season coming up. With that in mind, let’s get into my best Texans vs Seahawks player prop bet for MNF, while you can also check out our expert NFL picks for BOTH MNF matchups.

Best Texans vs Seahawks player prop bet: Nico Collins 5+ receptions & Dalton Schultz 30+ receiving yards (+160)

Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing. 1u

I was initially only going to bet on Nico Collins’ receptions when it opened at 4.5, but it’s been steamrolled up to 5.5, where I don’t feel as comfortable. At 4.5, there’s a substantial amount of data to support the Over: he’s seen 15 of his 21 targets in the last 3 games against zone coverage, where the Seahawks rank top 3 in zone coverage frequency. He landed on the hook of this line in 2 straight, but both were blowouts where they abandoned the passing game in the second half.

For Dalton Schultz, I expect him to take command over the slot snaps in Christian Kirk’s absence. The Seattle defense is allowing the 6th-most receptions and 9th-most receiving yards per game to opposing tight ends. He’s hit this in 3 straight games and hasn’t had fewer than 28 yards all season.
