Aaron Jones had one of the top games of his injury-plagued season last week against the Commanders in a 31-0 routing. He broke off four runs of 5+ yards in the 4th quarter and his last drive of action, finishing the game with 76 yards on 14 carries. Yet, I don’t expect the same success against a Cowboys 5-man front and four defensive tackles. The Vikings are not reluctant to go to a running back by committee approach with Jordan Mason and Jones. Mason carried the ball 11 times, including 8 times in the 1st half last week.
The matchup, along with Jones being a limited participant in practice this week, calls for a fade on the veteran running back. DraftKings is offering his rush attempts prop at 12.5 at -117 odds, which is much better than what FanDuel has at 11.5 attempts priced at -118 odds.
