The NRFI has hit in all four Tigers games since the All Star Break. We get two great pitchers on the mound in Casey Mize and Mitch Keller. Pittsburgh is the worst scoring 1st Inning offense in the MLB season and this Detroit offense is as cold as we have ever seen them be this year. Mize has a 1.12 ERA in the 1st only allowing 2 runs over 16 innings. Keller has a not too shabby 2.70 ERA in the first himself. No Kerry Carpenter still for Detroit and Greene/Torkelson usually get their HR’s later in games. I like this game to open with an easy quick 6 outs. Lets roll!
