The NRFIs have been doing well for us lately. With Aaron Judge sidelined, I feel more comfortable than ever taking a NRFI with the Yankees involved. We have a pitching matchup between Max Fried and Joe Boyle here. First off, Max Fried holds a 2.14 ERA in the 1st inning. The Rays are the perfect opponent in this scenario, as they are 23-5 on the NRFI against left-handed starters, which ranks worst in MLB.
Joe Boyle may not have much of a sample size but has been stellar in his few outings this year. Boyle has allowed just 3 runs this year in 19 innings pitched and should be able to keep New York quiet in the early going. We are getting a fair price on what should be 6 quick and easy outs.
