The NBA brings us a 4-game slate on Thursday night. The Miami Heat and the Chicago Bulls will square off in a nationally televised game on NBA TV. Meanwhile, the Minnesota Timberwolves will face the Cleveland Cavaliers in a clash in which both teams are looking to showcase that they are elite teams this season.
You read our NBA picks for all of tonight’s matchups, but for now let’s dive into my best NBA player props on Thursday.
Anthony Edwards (MIN) Over 3.5 made threes (+100)
Anthony Edwards is coming into tonight’s game in fine form, especially when it comes to scoring from beyond the arc. In the last 2 games alone he has been able to knock down 11 of his 18 attempts from deep. Now he will have a great chance to build on that against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Over the last 10 games his opponents are holding teams to a league-worst 41% from deep. As a result, it is not surprising to seem them 28th in opponent 3-point makes per game during that time. Edwards leads the Timberwolves in 3-point attempts per game this season, knocking down 40.7% of those shots. Up against an undersized backcourt, Edwards should have no issues getting his shots off tonight. Expect him to build on recent performances.

Moussa Diabate (CHA) over 11.5 rebounds (+102)
The Charlotte Hornets remain with a lack of depth at center, with Moussa Diabate continuing to carry the load at center. He has logged at least minutes of playing time in 4 of his last 6 games, recording 11 or more boards in 4 games, too. This season he is averaging 8.3 rebounds per game in just over 23 minutes per night, so if he pushes past 30, he will have a great chance of hitting this over. The opponent is ideal for him, as well. Over the last 10 games the Pacers are dead last in rebound percentage and 26th in opponent rebounds per game. Micah Potter is seeing a bigger role for Indiana of late, but with the center checking in at just 6’9”, Diabate should have no problem using his size to dominate the glass. Let’s back him to grab at least 12 boards.
