Our props team took care of business on Monday on a 3-game NBA slate with a 2-0 showing. That gives us 8 wins over our last 9 plays in the player prop market. Let’s dive into our best NBA player prop bets for Tuesday, while you can also find out our expert NBA picks for tonight’s matchups and every game throughout the season.
Best NBA player prop bet: Jay Huff (IND) over 1.5 three-pointers (-110)
Odds available at Bet365 at time of publishing. Playable to -120.
For our first player prop bet on Tuesday, let’s start with the first game of the slate in the Eastern Conference. The Pacers are a mess and are ready to pack it in and get to the draft lottery in hopes of getting a top 3 pick. In the meantime, Jay Huff has taken full advantage of an opportunity to play on a tanking team – especially when it comes to shooting the three-ball. He’s attempted 28 threes over his last 5 games, so the volume is certainly there for Huff to hit at least a pair of 3-pointers in this one. With that in mind, he’ll look to stretch the floor against the 76ers on Tuesday.
Best NBA player prop bet: Brandon Miller (CHA) over 7.5 rebounds+assists (-115)
Odds available at Bet365 at time of publishing. Over 8.5 playable at DraftKings to +110.
The Charlotte Hornets being a potential threat in the Eastern Conference was not a thought heading into the season. Though they are the #10 seed, the Hornets rank top 12 in defensive efficiency and 8th in offensive efficiency in February – thanks to Brandon Miller, our top NBA player prop bet of the 11-game slate. Miller continues to see increased usage post All-Star Break, leading to eclipsing over 7.5 rebounds+assists in 4 of 8 games in February. Miles Bridges will likely return for this game, which potentially hurts Miller’s usage. However, against a Bulls team that ranks 29th in defensive efficiency this month, I’m willing to back Miller in this spot.
