It’s the final night of games before the All-Star Weekend, and while it might be too late for some of these players to get themselves involved there, they can still put on a show on Thursday. The Oklahoma City Thunder will be in action, as they’ll look to continue asserting their dominance against a Milwaukee Bucks team that is still without Giannis Antetokounmpo. You can find all of our NBA predictions for tonight’s games, but first, let’s get into my best NBA player prop bets for each matchup.
Best NBA player prop bet: Chet Holmgren (OKC) under 19.5 points (-125)
Chet Holmgren has hardly been lighting up the box scores of late with his scoring. In his last 9 outing he is averaging 16 points per game, not hitting the 20-point mark in any of his last 6 outings. His playing time could be limited too if this game is a blowout, which will limit his opportunities to bounce back.
Over the last 10 games the Milwaukee Bucks are 25th in net offensive and defensive rating so might have little to offer the Thunder. Their opponents did have 2 bigs in their starting lineup in their last game out, with Jericho Sims and Myles Turner on the floor. Either of these big men would be a tough and physical matchup for Holmgren. With that in mind, let’s take the under on Chet’s point prop.

NBA player prop bet: Jaren Jackson Jr. (UTA) over 1.5 assists (-120)
This is one of those lines that has been consistently coming in of late and is hard to ignore at this value. Jaren Jackson Jr. has recorded at least 2 assists in 8 of his last 9 games, including all of his appearances for the Utah Jazz so far. Considering he is new to the team, expect him to remain unselfish as he settles in.
The opponent should be favorable too. Over the last 10 games the Trail Blazers are 18th in opponent assists per game. In his lone meeting against them this season, Jackson Jr. recorded 4 dimes. Over the last 5 games the Jazz are in the top half of the league in true shooting percentage so should be well positioned to convert on any chances he creates.

NBA player prop pick: Naji Marshall (DAL) to score 20+ points (+100)
With Cooper Flagg ruled out for the Dallas Mavericks, someone else will have to step up. Naji Marshall’s scoring has been up and down a bit lately, but he has managed 30 or more points in 2 of his last 3 games. He also averages 18.5 points per game against the Lakers this season, so he looks to be the man.
The Lakers have questionable defenders on the wing, with Austin Reaves not being outstanding in that department and LeBron James being 41-years old. With increased usage, we could see another explosive performance from Marshall. The Lakers are 26th in opponent 3-point attempts per game. With the Mavericks forward starting off this month making 38.9% of his shots from deep, it should assist him to getting to the 20-point mark.
