The NBA Cup returns with 22 teams playing their first matchup on tonight’s 11-game slate. Let’s dive into our best NBA player prop bets for Friday, November 7, while you can also find out our expert NBA picks for every game throughout the NBA season.
Best NBA player prop bet: Ron Holland (DET) Over 10.5 points (-110)
Odds available at BetMGM at time of publishing.
Ron Holland is starting to turn heads after a so-so rookie season, during which he played sparingly on a much-improved Pistons team from the year prior. Looking ahead to his 2nd season, the sophomore jump was imminent. Holland is averaging 10.4 points per game, while shooting 35% from three-point range – an improvement from 24% last season. Holland scored just 9 points last game, but played a season-high 28 minutes and showed flashes of his athleticism with a block and dunk on the same possession. He should be able to secure 11 points here.

Best NBA player prop bet: Cooper Flagg (DAL) Over 17.5 points (-113)
Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.
Cooper Flagg’s point guard duties are behind him. D’Angelo Russell was inserted into the starting lineup in place of Klay Thompson. That plugged Flagg into a scoring role that resulted in a career-high 19 field-goal attempts, leading to his 2nd career 20-point game. The Mavericks’ offense is historically bad, literally. They have the worst offensive rating in NBA history -11.8. A matchup against the Grizzlies, who rank in the bottom 10 in defensive efficiency and play at a top-5 pace, is what Flagg and the Mavericks need.
