We’ve got a 6-game slate coming our way in the NBA tonight, but among them are some star-studded matchups. The ESPN doubleheader sees current #1 seeds collide, as the Oklahoma City Thunder meet the Detroit Pistons at 7:00 pm ET in a potential NBA Finals preview, before the Boston Celtics and Denver Nuggets lock horns at 9:30 pm ET. Other exciting matchups see the Spurs and their 9-game winning streak visit the Raptors, while the Cavaliers take on the Bucks. I’ve looked over every matchup and have found my best NBA player prop bets for Wednesday, February 25, as I look to extend our team’s INSANE 21-7 run on props! Best NBA player prop bet: Donovan Mitchell (CLE) over 6.5 first-quarter points (-130)
Odds available at Fanatics Sportsbook at time of publishing.
Donovan Mitchell feels undervalued in this market. Despite the arrival of James Harden, we have seen Mitchell continuously hit this prop. He has hit this in 5 of his last 6 games, with his 1 miss falling just short with 6 first-quarter points. This matchup against Milwaukee is a prime one. The Bucks allow the most made threes to shooting guards in the NBA, and Don averages 9.4 attempts per game.
Despite Cleveland being on the 2nd leg of a back-to-back, I think this game could have blowout potential, so I’m gladly focusing on just the opening quarter here. Albeit now without Giannis, we saw Mitchell light up Milwaukee for 14 first-quarter points in their last meeting, and we need only half that here. As the season unwinds, we will be focusing on more first-quarter markets as blowouts become more regular. Let’s cash another prop tonight!
