We have abandoned the first-quarter market for too long and it’s time to give it some love again. This is a bet that is simple enough. We need a quick 2 buckets from Jarrett Allen. Allen loves beating up on Charlotte, as he has gone over this number in 13 of his last 14 games against them. More importantly, and relevantly, he has hit this in each of his last 5 games this year.
Allen has consistently seen 8+ early minutes and he should have a 25-pound weight advantage on Moussa Diabate. Darius Garland will remain sidelined, which should add more shots for the other Cavs starters. My favorite thing about this market is that it can’t lose due to a blowout. Allen has historically been a cash respecter and he gets the call again today to bring us home. This is my best NBA player prop bet of the day. Let’s roll!
