The NBA Cup quarterfinals continue with 2 matchups tonight in the Western Conference. First up, we have Suns vs Thunder as Phoenix looks to somehow get the better of 23-1 OKC, before we turn our attention to Spurs vs Lakers at 10:00 pm ET. Both matchups are live on Amazon Prime Video tonight, and I’ve pieced together my best NBA player prop bets, targeting Mark Williams. Let’s dive in, while you can also find out our expert NBA picks for tonight’s matchups and every game throughout the NBA season.

Best NBA player prop bet: Mark Williams (PHX) over 9.5 points in Suns vs Thunder (-123)

Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Mark Williams isn’t a guy we would typically look to bet on, but on a 2-game slate it can be fun to get creative. Williams has 10+ points in 8 straight games. The reason this number is so low is because Oklahoma City allows the 2nd-fewest points to centers in the NBA.

So why are we betting it? Williams has already proven to be capable against OKC and faces off against Chem Holmgren in the paint. Less than 2 weeks ago, Williams hit this 10-point mark against the Thunder just 2 minutes into the 2nd half of that game. The Thunder will look to trap Devin Booker and make other Suns players score. Asking for 10 points out of Williams shouldn’t be too much. The last time he failed to score double digits in points was November 16. Despite the tough matchup, I like the big man to bring us home in a spirited effort as the Suns look to reach the NBA Cup semis. Let’s roll!
