The first few slates of the NBA have not disappointed, especially on primetime. NBA Friday presents bettors with a massive 12-game slate. Let’s dive into our top NBA player prop bets for Friday, October 24.

Best NBA player prop bet: Paolo Banchero (ORL) Over 11.5 rebounds + assists (-125)
Odds available at Fanatics Sportsbook at time of publishing.
The new-look Orlando Magic may have found a new identity this season. They played at a rapid pace in Game 1 against the Heat, having 111 possessions, and the Heat vs Magic featured the second-fastest pace of any game on Wednesday. The fastest? Raptors vs Hawks. Ironically enough, the Magic will host the Hawks on Friday night with a game total of 235 — a total we would not have seen on the Magic’s end last season. Expect the ball in Banchero’s hands — creating scoring opportunities for himself, Desmond Bane and Franz Wagner.

Best NBA player prop bet: RJ Barrett (TOR) Over 1.5 three-pointers (-130)
Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.
Let’s stick with the early slate, as the Bucks and Raptors tip off at 6:30 pm ET. The Raptors may have had the most impressive win to start the season. They blew the doors off the Atlanta Hawks on the road, winning by 20 points — all while the starting lineup shot 2-for-13 from 3-point range. That’s not even close to enough volume, while also being unsustainable. Against the Bucks’ length, I expect the Raptors’ core to heave from 3-point range — with Barrett being the beneficiary of getting his fair share of usage.
