Hump day hits us with a 7-game slate in the NBA that features an ESPN doubleheader on Wednesday night. Things get started with Nuggets vs Knicks before we get into a crunch showdown in the West between the Thunder and the Spurs. I’ve looked over every matchup and have found my best NBA player prop bets for Wednesday, February 4, while you can also check out our expert NBA picks for every matchup throughout the season.
Check out our expert’s NBA best bets for each of tonight’s 7 games!
Best NBA player prop bet: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (OKC) over 6.5 first-quarter points (+114)
Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.
This line is head-scratching to me. SGA is averaging 7.8 first-quarter points on the season and is fresh off a performance where he played all 12 minutes of the 1st quarter. This is the 2nd leg of a back-to-back, but Shai has pretty consistently played big minutes despite having no rest between days. San Antonio is an outstanding team, but allows the 6th-most points to point guards in the NBA. SGA has hit this line in 3 of 4 games against San Antonio this year with all 3 cashes coming with 9+ early points. All we are asking for is 7 and we are getting some beautiful plus-money odds here. I don’t expect these odds to hold come tipoff, so try to lock this in as soon as you can. Let’s roll!
