A loaded 9-game slate on Friday night looks intriguing at first glance, but 6 of the games have a spread of at least 13 points. Nonetheless, I’ll look to build on my 51-37 record.

Let’s dive into our best NBA player prop bets for Friday, April 3, while you can also find out our expert NBA picks for tonight’s matchups and every game throughout the season.

Best NBA player prop bet: Tristan da Silva (ORL) Under 12.5 points + rebounds (-112)

Tristan da Silva was more than serviceable in the absence of Franz Wagner. He averaged 12 points per game as a starter while shooting 38.5% from 3-point range. But with the return of Wagner and the Magic looking up as the #9 seed in the Eastern Conference, I’m looking to fade da Silva — as he will come off the bench and fall into a limited role.

NBA player prop bet: Tyrese Maxey (PHI) Over 28.5 points (-116)

Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing

Playoff races are heating up, and the 76ers are in the thick of it. They hold the #6 seed in the East, owning the tiebreaker over the Toronto Raptors. To no surprise, the 76ers will be without Joel Embiid tonight — leaving Tyrese Maxey and Paul George to do the heavy lifting against the Minnesota Timberwolves, who are on the second leg of a back-to-back. George had the best game of his 76ers career on Wednesday, scoring 39 points against a woeful Wizards team. The task will be tougher against the Timberwolves, who have bodies they can throw at PG13. As such, I’m running to back Maxey — who played just 4 minutes in the fourth quarter of the last game. One of the few close spreads on the slate, I’m looking for Maxey to have a signature game at home with the 76ers needing a win to avoid the play-in tournament.
