Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. The Oklahoma City Thunder are currently the hottest team in the NBA, having build up a 10-game winning streak. It has helped them to establish the best record in the NBA, with the team currently having a league leading 63 wins. With a 70-win season still a possibility, they will look to get one step closer as they take on the Detroit Pistons at home tonight. You can watch the action live tonight on ESPN.

Check out our previews for tonight’s NBA games. But first, take a look at my Pistons/Thunder Same Game Parlay below.

Gilgeous Alexander over 1.5 made threes (-140)

Hardaway Jr. to score 15+ points (+155)

Parlay odds: +320

Shai Gilgeous Alexander over 1.5 made threes (-140)

In recent games Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been great from beyond the arc. He has knocked down at least 2 3-pointers in 4 of his last 6 games. This is hardly a surprise as since the beginning of March SGA is averaging 2.4 made threes per game on 41.3 percent shooting from beyond the arc. He averages close to 6 attempts from deep per game. With his recent efficiency, that should be enough for him to hit the over on this line.

He had success shooting against the Detroit Pistons earlier in the season too. He knocked down 4 of his 6 attempts when they met earlier in March, on his way to a 48-point performance. The both of these teams are in the top 10 in pace over the last 10 games, meaning there should be no shortage in possessions for either side. That should help ensure that SGA gets the attempts he needs in order to knock down a couple of shots here.

Tim Hardaway Jr. to score 15+ points (+155)

With Cade Cunningham remaining out for the Pistons, Tim Hardaway Jr. may be required to provide more scoring once more tonight. He has had success doing that of late, managing at least 20 points in both of his last 2 games. Both of those efforts were against teams ranked in the top 10 in defensive rating this season, so going up against a team as strong defensively as the Oklahoma City Thunder should not deter him here.

Hardaway Jr. relies heavily on 3-point shots to boost his scoring numbers, something the Thunder have been giving up to opponents. Over the last 10 games they are 29th in opponent 3-point attempts per game and 27th in opponent makes. The Pistons forward used this to make 3 shots from beyond the arc in the last meeting against them. He had 10 field goal attempts in that meeting, sharing the floor with Cunningham. Without the Pistons star around, Hardaway Jr. attempted 14 and 18 shots in his last 2 games, respectively. If he sees a similar increase in attempts here, he should be able to reach the 15-point mark.
