The English Premier League season wraps up with ten games and most everyone has at least something to play for. Let’s breakdown all of the games on this final day as Pickswise hands out some Premier League Final Day Free Predictions on Sunday. PicksWise is your home for everything Premier League related.
Wolves @ Liverpool
Backing Liverpool on the money line comes with a price in this game but I think it’s really the only way to go. These teams faced off earlier this season with Liverpool on the road and they were still able to come away with victory. It seems Salah is going to be out of this match but they didn’t need him when they came back against Barcelona midweek. Liverpool can’t control their destiny for the title but they need a win to put the pressure on. Back Liverpool on the money line.
Chelsea @ Leicester City
Chelsea played a hard-fought game on Thursday that went into extra time in the Europa League and I think that could cause them problems in this game. Leicester City seems to be playing some inspired soccer right now having beaten Arsenal 3-0 two games ago and almost getting a draw against Manchester City in their last game. They are at home, a place they play well and I think that will ring true again. Back Leicester City to get the job done on the money line.
Cardiff City @ Manchester United
There is something seriously wrong with the Manchester United squad. They haven’t won their last four Premier League games and in their last game they played to a draw with Huddersfield Town who sit in last place in the standings. I don’t trust Cardiff City to win this game but they have been keeping games close as of late. They only lost 2-0 a few games ago to Liverpool, a squad much better than United. Cardiff City will keep this game close and back them getting two goals in this game.
West Ham United @ Watford
Watford finishes the season against West Ham United but the more important game takes place next week when they play in the FA Cup final. There is a very good chance they could be looking ahead to that game and that could cause some issues. I don’t love this game but I think both West Ham on the money line and West Ham +0.5 is in play here. The official play here is West Ham +0.5 but this is only a lean and I would bet it small.
Everton @ Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham Hotspur will still be buzzing about the way they found themselves a spot in the Champions League Final and I think some of that energy will help them in this game. Everton has been playing well coming into this game but it’s hard to play in Tottenham and I think that will continue to be a problem in this game for Everton. There is always a chance that they could suffer a hangover after winning their last game, which is why I would also bet this game small but the play is with Tottenham Hotspur on the money line to get the job done.
Huddersfield Town @ Southampton
Huddersfield Town has had a terrible season and this will be their last game in the Premier League but they want to finish their time in the league on a strong note and they are going to get a chance against a Southampton team that currently sits 15th in the league. Southampton looked really bad in their last game against West Ham United, while Huddersfield defense played well against Manchester United. The spread in this game is 1.5 and the play is with Huddersfield +1.5
Manchester City @ Brighton & Hove Albion
Manchester City has everything to play for and I think in this game they are going to try and prove to everyone that not only do they deserve the title but I think that pressure might actually get to them. When these teams faced off last time in the FA Cup City only won by a goal and this is a team that hasn’t been scoring a ton of goals as of late. In their last game against Leicester City they only scored a goal and I could see this game ended 1-0 too. Brighton is +2 in this game and that is the play. I have a ton of confidence in this game.
Arsenal @ Burnley
Arsenal has had their struggles the last couple of weeks but finishing above Manchester United is important to them and the only way they can guarantee that is getting three points in this game. Burnley doesn’t have a win in their last three games and after Sunday you can make it four. I think Arsenal will get the job done but bet this one small because it’s only a lean.
AFC Bournemouth @ Crystal Palace
12th place in the standings will be decided in this game which means both teams will still be putting it all out on the line. Bournemouth won their last game against Tottenham Hotspur but Tottenham Hotspur still hard a hard time getting the job done. Crystal Palace is at home and they have won two of the last three games with the other game ending in a draw. In the two wins they scored three goals and that offense will be the difference in this game. Back Crystal Palace on the money line.
Newcastle United @ Fulham
This is a stay away game from me because both of these teams have been so inconsistent all season. Fulham knows this is their last game in the Premier League as they are being relegated and I think they could use that as motivation to finish strong and at least have a little bright spot to take away from this season. It’s a lean to Fulham at best but I would not have this game on your betting slip as it’s too unpredictable.
