Week 18 comes to a close with the AFC North title on the line. Baltimore will head to sub-zero Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers (+3.5) on Sunday Night Football. Lamar Jackson will be under center for the Ravens after missing Week 17 with a back injury that had many fans questioning its validity. It has been a rocky season for the Ravens, particularly the relationship between Jackson and head coach John Harbaugh. However, all of that can be put behind them with a win on Sunday night. For the Steelers, they will be without DK Metcalf due to suspension for taking a swing at a fan in their win over the Lions. That could prove to be one of the most impactful suspensions of the year if the Steelers cannot pull off the upset.

Here is my favorite player prop bet for Ravens vs Steelers.

Pat Freiermuth (PIT) Over 31.5 receiving yards (-114)

Line available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing. 1 unit.

As mentioned in the opening summary, the Steelers will be without DK Metcalf and that is HUGE development. I looked at last week’s snaps/targets for Pittsburgh to see where the slack was made up and — surprisingly — it was between Adam Thielen and Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Freiermuth has caught my eye this week as someone who should have a big role in the offense. For starters, he has a passer rating of 122.4 when targeted this season and TE Darnell Washington has been moved to the IR, bumping Freiermuth up the pecking order. He is catching a whopping 77% of his passes this season and is fourth on the team in Man Coverage targets, a coverage Baltimore deploys with the fifth-most frequency in the league. I’m skeptical that Thielen and MVS will replicate the volume we saw in Week 17 and fully expect offensive coordinator Arthur Smith to keep Freiermuth on the field for a majority of the snaps.
