Thursday Night Football in NFL Week 4 gives us an NFC West showdown and the first primetime look at both the Seattle Seahawks (+1) and the Arizona Cardinals (total at 43.5). For this matchup, the Cardinals are coming off a tough loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 3, while Seattle is rolling after a 2-1 start, with their only loss also coming to San Francisco in Week 1. Given the injury plague that the 49ers appear to be cursed with, the NFC West is up for grabs and these wins will matter come January. With that in mind, let’s get into my best Seahawks vs Cardinals player prop bets for TNF, while you can also find out all our expert NFL picks for every Week 4 matchup.

Best Seahawks vs Cardinals player prop bet: Trey Benson (ARI) over 20.5 receiving yards (-120)
Odds available at Fanatics Sportsbook at time of publishing. 1u.
James Conner was carted off the field last week with a nasty ankle injury that will push 2nd-year RB Trey Benson into the starting lineup. Benson has made the most of his touches this season with 5.95 yards per carry and 15 receiving yards per game in a limited role. That should expand greatly on Thursday Night Football and I’m buying in on his receiving capabilities as a result.
The Seahawks are tied for last in the league with 27 targets per game allowed to opposing RBs for a league-worst 234 receiving yards, and only 23 of that is from last week’s blowout of the Saints. They play zone defense at a top-10 rate, which should allow Benson to find soft spots and turn up field for big gains. We’ve seen this Seattle defense give up big chunks of yards in the receiving game to RBs through 3 weeks with plays of 25, 65, and 14.
In Week 2, Benson took over the receiving role from James Conner with 16 routes run for 5 targets and his routes have increased week over week: 10, 16, 24. Benson is 2nd on the team in target rate against zone coverage (26%), with all 8 of his targets coming against this scheme. Lastly, Seattle is bottom-5 in the NFL in missed tackles so far. This is a great spot for Benson to shine in his first start.
