The Pacers made plenty of adjustments in Game 2, notably how they defended Lu Dort. Dort got off just 3 three-point attempts in Game 2 compared to 9 healthy looks in Game 1. They made changes to how they defended the pick-and-roll and rotation defense. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had a field day from the mid-range and the free-throw line with that adjustment. Jalen Williams also added 8 points from the free-throw line. In total, the Thunder made 29 of 33 free-throw attempts.
The Pacers could adjust back to leaving Dort open from the three-point line, but I’d expect them to run him off the line, especially if Pascal Siakam is back to defending him. We’ll add rebounds and assists to the points line, as Dort could end up in foul trouble like he did in Game 2.
